| Oh, What a Life! |
[Sep. 5th, 2008|01:37 pm] |

I've been pinching myself all over for quite a while now, to see what part of me is dead and which is still alive, and am happy to find that at least my obnoxious humor isn’t dead yet, and will eventually surface back to you again!. Amazing!
As I mentioned before, this is the first time in my life I've actually seen what politics is all about. It sure is dirty, huh?! I know there's a name for people like me, but when I become interested in something, I just can't let it go until it eventually irks me to death! Another thing, when I grow to deeply care for someone, as I've grown to care so much for Barack and Michelle Obama, I'm 100% loyal - FOREVER. I'm the same way about my friends and family, and of course, the animal world. And what can I say for this beloved country of ours that I love with all my heart and soul, and it breaks my heart to find how very divided we are, (kind of like those during the Civil War) when we should all be more united than ever! So, forgive me for fighting as I have for Obama and Michelle. Please! As for Sarah PAIN, if need be, I won't be handling her with kit gloves, as the Republican Party DEMANDS. Since she's running for a position in Washington, that will affect in some way or another OUR LIVES, I feel it's mandatory we try to find ALL the pros AND cons about the woman. After all, this isn't a girly beauty contest, and a beauty she is!
Yes, I've been so engrossed in this political civil war thing, that I haven't been sharing with those of you have been so sweet and patient with me by sticking around, the many adorable things about my cats, dogs, Nemo the Fish, Grandpa, and even a trip I took for the 2nd time to Key West this past July, and another two fun trip I took!
I’ve been meaning to tell you so many new happenings about my real life Shadow People who live in my house and of my continued love affair with death and cemeteries! I have oodles of more pics to share of spooky graves, plus some that a LJ pal sent me which are absolutely beautiful, and of course will give him credit as the photographer!
I’ve been meaning to share with you the many horrible things that have been happening in Juarez and of the corruption here in El Paso. But again, I’ll be a monkey’s aunt, if I’ve had the time, because I’ve been getting so upset and angry from watching those TV stations (Fox) that have caused so much harm to my well-being and sparkling personality! :o)
I’ve been meaning to toot my horn with an accumulation of pics I’ve taken of my delicious dishes I’ve made, and I’ve been meaning to share with you updates on that guy who was released from prison back in November, and who now lives in my backyard. It’s quite a fairy tale, the things that have been happening in his life. Oh, and I still haven’t posted his real life account of the Texas 7!!
I’ve had spurts of the naughtiness, but have put them on the back burner, because I’ve been too engrossed in the ugliness of politics.
I’ve been meaning to share with you, in detail that I have been going back and forth to different specialists since the middle of August, because of a tumor that was found in my lower right abdomen that’s the size of a damn plum, and of the preparations that have been made. I've somehow lost 4 pounds in a month, because I'm always feeling nauseated. I hope I don't end up losing my sexy figure! :o) I’ll go more into detail about this, after the 10th of this month, when I’ll be will be given an exact date for surgery, and of course, if it turned out to be malignant. As I told one LJ pal in an email, “I’m not too worried of dying, since I’ve heard that only the good die young.” For once in my life, I’m so happy that I’ve been so bad! :o)
I’m still working diligently on that "Romantic" all ENGLISH domain I mentioned before. It is seriously going to be my masterpiece of love and romance with over 1,000 pages, and just about the same amount of graphics I’ve created. I've been studying and practicing on my own, and must admit, I've come up with some pretty awesome creations. Oh, and not to worry, because it will be totally family friendly. When it finished, I’ll definitely put the URL here. I’ve already finished another brand new family friendly domain, which is in ALL SPANISH, and which has over 2,000 pages!! As you can see, I haven’t had a life or very much sleep for a very long time, because I've used EVERY single spare moment of my life in working. I'm not complaining, because I honestly love working at my real full time job and on the web! I go crazy when I don't do something to produce more money! Seriously!
I believe I now have about 12 different domains. All are FRIENDLY, and a couple are adult. I'll eventually only post the URL's of the FRIENDLY one here. I also have the domain with Obama's name as President of the United States that I was so lucky to purchase! I have no idea what I'll be able to do with that one. Perhaps I'll give it a try, and hope Obama doesn't make me take it down, when he's PRESIDENT! I'll forgive him if he does! :o)
Yes, I’ve bought even more domains, one each for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Quotes, Poetry, my Catholic Religion (SPANISH), Cooking (SPANISH) and one on my most favorite thing in the world, KISSES! Heeeeee When I finish all of them all, I’ll post the URL’S all here.
I've kind of lost myself along the way by this political journey I've undertaken, and need to find myself again, and I know I will. I really have been a total asshole for too long, huh?
Oh, and to those who will be mentioned soon, the ones who sent me a gift, I'll do my very best to send the wallets on Monday. Only FOUR of the ten saw the post, and responded in my SCREENED FOREVER post. I still haven’t had a chance to renew my P.O. Box, but will very soon, and will give it to those oodles of sweethearts who asked for it. I better buy me some really nice stationary!

I love this Seattle bar:
http://www.shortydog.com/
Pinball, 2.25 draft beers and delicious hotdogs. I don't think there's anything to argue about with that.
We will spend 5 days here and truly explore Seattle this time. I almost want to go to Portland again, but I also want to visit Vancover, which are all about a 2-3 hour drive from here.
But it's just too much ground to cover in too short of a time. I like commiting my time to a single city these days....
well it's 11:30pm on the west coast and i'm still not tired.

Hat-tip Paul Waldman...
By now, you're all too familiar with the outright lies that've been snaking their way out of the GOP's crawlspace for the last twelve months — the Muslim thing, the birth certificate thing, the elitist thing, the Wright thing, the Ayers thing, the "uppity Michelle" thing, the Pledge of Allegiance thing, the flag pin thing, the Castro endorsement thing... you need me to go on?...
These scumbags have proven that they will say and/or so anything necessary to hoodwink the American people and steal this election. And if you watched last night's RNC speakers (most notably Giuliani and Palin), you know full-well how foul and perverted this next two months is going to be.
Many of these shameless attacks have been spread via e-mail and in the echo chamber that is the MSM. And while they may seem disconnected - the truth is that these attacks work together, dovetailing to form a chorus of fear, intolerance and open hostility, and creating the spurious (yet pervasive) narrative that Obama isn't "one of us."
You saw what happened when the Swift Boaters unleashed their dossier of lies on Kerry in '04 — lies that were repeated ad nauseam in the media until they were ultimately accepted as truth by millions of gullible voters. The 2008 version of this well-rehearsed deception is what Media Matters calls "Swiftboating 2.0," not only because it is the latest model of a political smear campaign, but also because it shares features of "Web 2.0" sites like Facebook and MySpace, where significant portions of the content are generated by ordinary people and are spread P2P.
But y'know what? You can fight back using the very same channels of information, i.e. counter-attacking via your own LJ, Facebook, MySpace, etc., as well as talking to your friends, family and associates. When you see or hear media figures repeating these ugly smears, please take the time to call, e-mail and/or text to let them know you're watching and that they got it wrong. It's the very least you can do for your country's economy, environment and military... as well as your children's future.
You can start right now by reposting or linking this on your LJ. The only way to keep this round of Swiftboating from succeeding is for every progressive in this country to stand up for accountability and kill the smears before they breed and spread like a plague.
60 days left, my friends. On your feet, or on your knees. |

| No More Pork Barrel Welfare For YOU, Eskimo! |
[Sep. 4th, 2008|02:18 pm] |
Someone oughta tell Todd Palin's Yupik Eskimo relations to give back the $3.3 million they've received in Alaskan state aid to shore up the structural supports of their villages because, according to Sarah Palin, the jury is still out on man-made global warming...
Fox News:"The bulk of the $3.3 million will go toward the design and possible partial construction of a road from the barge landing to a planned evacuation center.
'It will boost the village site and speed up the relocation process,' said tribal administrator Stanley Tom.
The Yupik Eskimo community of 400 is among six remote villages tapped by the state for immediate attention because they are highly vulnerable to escalating erosion, storms and flooding linked to global warming. The state is investing nearly $13 million to protect the villages in the coming year. [...]
Erosion and flooding now affect 86% of Alaska's 213 Alaska Native villages to some degree, according to a 2003 report by the U.S. Government Accountability Office. A handful are facing imminent relocations. In Newtok, relentless erosion is heightened by melting and sinking permafrost, which further subjects the area to severe flooding from intensifying storms. [...]
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is proposing a $20 million road and evacuation center at Mertarvik that later could be turned into a community center or tribal offices. Officials hope the state's funding will give that and other Alaska projects a higher priority for federal funding..." "Federal funding?" WTF?
If man-made global warming is a "hoax," then this is just another example of wasteful, pork-barrel welfare spending by a Republican state administration. These villagers should either pull themselves up by the bootstraps and get off that naturally-flooded land on their own, or be left to drown.
You know... like polar bears.
Ain't that right, Sarah? |

| Rudy Giuliani |
[Sep. 4th, 2008|12:05 pm] |

It's hard to believe I once had respect Rudy Giuliani, but not anymore.
How I despise a man who builds himself up, at the expense of another.
This man spewed atrocities about Obama last night, at the Republican National Convention. I mean, the man, if you can call him that spent his entire time mercilessly belittling and ripping Obama to shreds. His UGLY, LIPLESS mouth just wouldn't stop. He did everything in his power to be as funny as could be at the expense of Obama.
He sure did show his TRUE colors for color! Doesn't this bag of waste have Cancer, and isn't he a bit too OLD to have behaved in the manner he did?
After hearing this ruthless evil LITTLE man last night and watching him puff up with pride like a rooster for getting the chuckles he did from the audience, I find myself despising him for the things he said about Obama. NEVER, has he been, nor will this worthless piece of crap be half the man Obama is!
As for Palin, gee, I kind of liked her at first, and she was kind of winning me over, then SHE started in, not only on Obama, but on Michelle by making nasty sarcastic snide remarks. Now I can see why she's been called a barracuda! She stings venom, with a smile.

[Sep. 4th, 2008|09:16 am] |
 Dear Senator Obama:
Well, that was certainly some night over at the Xcel Center wasn't it? I mean, The Huckster, The Ghoul and Yukon Barbie, all in one venomous swallow? I don't know about you, but I woke up with an enormous vitriol hangover this morning.
Question for you, big guy. Is it OK to go into full attack mode now... or would you prefer to be steamrolled up there on the high road? If you still insist that every slimy little corner of Palin's life is off-limits, can you and your handlers at least mount some sort of meaningful offensive against McCain? You know... like addressing his decrepit old age, his recurring cancer and his infamous temper tantrums...
Could you ask him why he's supported the same kind of torture he allegedly suffered at the hands of his captors? And what it would do to a person’s psyche to go through that ordeal and come out the other side with no counseling or therapy? And about abandoning a wife (along with three children) who had suffered a terrible, debilitating accident? And why he repeatedly sold his fellow veterans down the river, and took credit for a GI Bill that he opposed?
Might you query him on how quickly offshore drilling will lower oil prices (and by how much), and why he has opposed virtually every alternative energy bill ever introduced during his career? And why he’s opposed to guaranteed health care coverage for all Americans (like the coverage he enjoys)? And how the current market decline would have affected privatized Social Security? And how he really feels about women's reproductive rights?
And while you're at it, could you ask him about that "100 years in Iraq" thing? And how he intends to follow Osama bin Laden "to the gates of hell"? And when, exactly the bombing of Tehran will begin?
I will eagerly await your response, Senator. In the meantime, you'll forgive us "radical leftists" as we strap on our rubber aprons and take a chainsaw to these scumbags.
Yours truly, Jon |

Hat-tip katesmash...
That rumbling sound you hear in the distance is the collective rapture orgasm of every hardcore bible-thumper in the nation...
 Excerpted from NBC's Michael Levine:
As questions have been raised over how thoroughly John McCain's presidential campaign vetted Sarah Palin for the V.P. slot, it seems the McCain campaign was unaware of a video in which Palin talks about God's role in U.S. military action overseas, according to a political operative familiar with the situation.
The video is from a June Palin speech to graduating commission students at Palin's former church in Wasilla, Alaska. While describing her family, Palin told students about her oldest son, 19-year-old Track, who is set to be deployed to Iraq this month with the U.S. Army. She urged students to pray “that our leaders — that our national leaders — are sending [soldiers] out on a task that is from God.”
She added, “That's what we have to make sure that we are praying for: that there is a plan and that that plan is God's plan.”
In addition to talking about Iraq, Palin also referred to God's role in her work as governor.
“I can do my part in working really, really hard to get a natural gas pipeline, about a $30 billion project that's going to create a lot of jobs for Alaska. … [but] I think God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,” she said. “I can do my job there in developing our natural resources, in doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded. But really that stuff doesn't do any good if the people of Alaska's hearts aren't right with God.”
At one point during the address, Palin praised the graduating class as “a bunch of cool-looking Christians,” then picked out one student in the crowd and said with a smile, “Ben, I don't know you well enough yet, but looking at you, I'm thinking, people are going to interested in Jesus Christ through you because of the way you look - this red-headed Sasquatch for Jesus. You look good!” The students cheered.
The seven-minute speech is posted on the church's web site (server seems to be *ahem* busy at the moment). As for the McCain camp, they claim to have had "no knowledge" of it when Palin was announced as the V.P, nominee last Friday.
Don't laugh (just yet, anyway). These asylum escapees are capable of pouring into the voting booths like Oriental Rat Fleas, especially in the handicapped swing states.

| The Sale of John McCain's Soul... |
[Sep. 2nd, 2008|07:43 pm] |
...is now complete.
Former officials of John McCain's 2000 campaign expressed shock and disbelief to learn than the GOP presidential nominee had hired South Carolina political consultant Tucker Eskew.
Eskew, a key member of Bush's South Carolina team during the 2000 primaries, was seen by McCain and his staff, as largely responsible for the various smears against McCain and his family in South Carolina during that contentious contest, including the now-infamous "out-of-wedlock black baby" debacle.
Eskew was suddenly (and quietly) brought aboard the "Straight Talk Express" yesterday to help prepare VP nominee Sarah Palin for her role as McCain running mate; he will reportedly help her prepare for her Wednesday night acceptance speech, her stump speech as she hits the road, brief her on policy matters, and help her handle media scrutiny.
"He's one of the best and most collaborative talents in Republican politics," McCain senior adviser Nicolle Wallace told Politico, speaking of Eskew. "He also has a wit and an ability to turn a phrase like no one I've ever met before."
Eskew’s talent notwithstanding, he is generally loathed by McCain’s 2000 campaign team. When the media first reported push-poll phone calls from Voter/Consumer Research (a company hired by he Bush campaign) asking South Carolinians if they knew about McCain’s role in the S&L crisis and his scandal as a member of the Keating Five, it was Eskew — Bush’s South Carolina attack dog — who acknowledged, then defended, the calls.
“Show me a baseless comment in those questions” about McCain, Eskew told the Charleston Post and Courier in February 2000.
At the time, McCain ally Lindsey Graham (then a South Carolina congressman, now a senator) decried the tactics Eskew defended, holding a press conference along with two local Republican officials to denounce the phone calls.
"What happened last weekend is the great minds apparently went to Austin, Texas and all they could think of for a game plan was trash out John McCain,” Graham said. “That's not where I want my party to go."
The tactics used against McCain by Bush and his allies in South Carolina reportedly left a "deep scar" on both McCain and his wife Cindy. When then-Gov. Bush called upon Eskew to help him during the Florida recount, a senior McCain adviser told me that “when the going gets tough for Governor Bush, he turns to the darker side of our party. We saw that in South Carolina, and we see that today."
Eight years later, with a tough fight of his own, McCain has turned to one of the same men that tried to crush him by any means necessary. Asked if the McCain campaign would have a comment about hiring Eskew, McCain 2008 spokesman Brian Rogers emailed, "No."
This man is clearly desperate... and thoroughly despicable.

The Rude One is in rare form..."But, at the end of the day, the fact that we are discussing Bristol Palin's vagina means that the John McCain campaign is effectively over. He has fucked the goat.
